AST w Krakowie, 4th Year of the Faculty of Theatre Directing, Poland
Duration: 60 min
This production is an attempt to ask a question about the role of artists in the contemporary world, about their responsibility towards receivers of the arts and about their condition as people living within the framework of the same social obligations as the rest of the people. The family conflict from Shakespeare’s play becomes a space for looking into interpersonal relations. The text has been written in the process of improvisation, including quotations from the “Hamlet”, “History” by Witold Gombrowicz and “Factory 2” by Krystian Lupa.
